Giving Back and Helping Businesses Grow
is Part of Our DNA
We believe good brands don’t just make money — they make a difference.
At Plaid Moose Creative, giving back isn’t a side project or a once-a-year feel-good moment. It’s built into how we operate. We proudly support nonprofits, community organizations, and local initiatives by donating what we know best: strategy, creativity, and a lot of hard work.

Some of the Organizations We’re Proud to Support
BeLikeTommy Project
Creating Joyful Experiences for Youth that Need it the Most.
The BeLikeTommy Project creates unique, joyful experiences for youth ages 10-18 who have experienced hardship, especially those most vulnerable to exclusion and discrimination. Whether it’s a birthday party for a child or a day fishing on the lake, the BeLikeTommy Project discreetly provides all that is needed to make that joyful experience happen.
Where other organizations help provide staples such as food, clothing, and shelter; the BeLikeTommy Project provides joy! The nonprofit was created to honor Tommy Nash, a 14-year old that brought joy to everyone around him in his short 14 years on earth.
Eli Hart Foundation
A Playground Built to Honor the Life of 6-Year Old Eli Hart
The Eli Hart Foundation, co-founded by our own Tiffany Beitler, is a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed in honor of 6-year-old Eli Hart, who was murdered in 2022, to create the Eli Hart Memorial Playground in Mound, MN. Their goal is also to raise awareness for children in foster care and domestic violence situations, aiming to turn tragedy into positive change for child safety and family support.
The inclusive playground, featuring Eli's favorite monkey bars, opened in June 2024 at Surfside Park, with the foundation continuing to advocate for child protection and family legal support.
Westonka Community Food Shelf
Serving Hope, Love & Food Since 1969
Serving our neighbors in need
Westonka Community Food Shelf is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to alleviating hunger in their local community.
Their mission is to respectfully provide nutritionally balanced food options to individuals and families in need within Mound, Minnetrista, Navarre, Minnetonka Beach, Spring Park, St. Bonifacius, Tonka Bay, Maple Plain, Independence and parts of Orono.
Mound Westonka Rotary
Supporting local and global service projects that strengthen our community
The Mound-Westonka Rotary Club is a local chapter of Rotary International serving the Lake Minnetonka communities in Minnesota, focused on "Service Above Self" through humanitarian projects, community support (like food shelves & scholarships), and global initiatives (like clean water filters), hosting regular meetings and fundraisers like the Tonka Brew Fest to fund their work.
Spirit of the Lakes Festival
Celebrating community, connection, and all things that make the Lake Minnetonka area special
The Spirit of the Lakes Festival is a vibrant, community-driven annual weekend event packed with exciting activities and entertainment for all ages.
This festival is almost entirely free for attendees, thanks to the generous contributions of numerous local businesses.
Highlights include a grand parade, boat-in movie, live music performances, and the unique “Meet Your Maker” craft beverage experience. The weekend event is capped off by an incredible fireworks show.
Each partnership is unique, but the goal is always the same: help them show up stronger, clearer, and more confidently.
Why We Do It
Because we can.
Because we live here.
Because we care.
Nonprofits deserve professional branding and strategy just as much as anyone else. When their message is clear and their brand is strong, they can focus on what matters most: serving people.
